Every serious case, matter or investigation now runs on more documents than any team can read by hand. Mailboxes, ledgers, contracts, filings, scans in half a dozen languages, growing every day the matter stays open.
That has been a gap without a solution for many years, so it got patched instead: litigators sent the work out to third parties, investigators fell back on keyword search, and in-house teams scoped their review down to what was reachable by the deadline. Whichever way, important aspects of an investigation were lost: control, time, or the part of the answer nobody thought to look for.
